I woke up at 4:30 to the sound of a thunderclap and the noise of rain on the roof. With only 24 hours before the start of the ride, the weather had turned momentarily ugly.
It only lasted for 20 minutes, but tomorrow is supposed to be a repeat performance. The rain jacket is definitely going in my seat bag.
Last night I downloaded some demo software for my Palm TX (I know, so 2005!) and I'm using it to post wirelessly. If I can WiFi in Centralia, I will file an update at the midpoint.
